The teachers are the most important part of any institute. Our
teachers are a qualified professional team. We have the special,
personal qualities that distinguish a good teacher patience,
understanding. Every teacher is trained in English language teaching
methods. Moreover, they are continually improving their teaching
skills through the further training we provide. Our teachers have the ability to create a friendly yet serious
atmosphere.
Here are a few of our teachers talking about their classroom
experiences:
It was my first batch. One day I was taking a lesson on careers and
interview. We had a role play activity about an airlines company.
There was a student in the class, a fresh graduate, who wasn’t sure
about what he wanted to do in life. I suggested half in jest that he
would make a good steward. Two months later, the student came to
meet me again. He met me with a big box of sweets saying he had
found a job in an airline company as a steward! He would earn a
salary of Rs.66,000 per month. He went on to tell me that I was the
reason of his success...

One day when I entered the centre, I found the centre manager
waiting for me. She had a student who was in desperate need of help.
He had failed three times in group discussions. We took him in a
running career English batch and conducted a series of GDs for him.
He went for an interview after two days and when he came back – his
body language told it all! He had got the job. His happiness made
the whole centre glow with pride.

An incident that I finally remember is about one of my students in
the level 4 class.
Faced with problems in the family, almost every evening he would
storm out of his house and sit on the pavement just below my class
till 9:30 or 10 pm – troubled, angry and self destructive. He would
sit there in the dark smoking endlessly. He would often hear
students talking and laughing upstairs. He decided to join the
course to spend time away from home. After he completed the course
he came and told me that the classes helped him find some direction
in life. The classes, the camaraderie, the activities helped him to
come out of the shell he had got into.
A few days back he called to tell me that he was leaving for
Singapore on deputation from his company.
